As an art instructor, my method of teaching fosters a growth mindset in students, encouraging them to appreciate the art process and embrace its’ challenges. I provide opportunities for students to make their own artistic discoveries with a variety of mediums and materials, to develop and recognize their unique qualities as budding artists. As a team member, I collaborate with teachers across content areas through cross curricular lesson planning, incorporating multiple disciplines into my lessons and arts integration into theirs. As a key member of an arts team, I enjoy planning and organizing special events to bring the community together and highlight student work and performances. Beyond teaching, I actively contribute to school initiatives and continuously seek opportunities to grow both personally and professionally.

The skills I have developed as a teacher, including positive communication, relationship building, and team engagement, translate seamlessly to other professional fields. I bring a collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt effectively in any situation, making me well-suited for roles that value connection, innovation, and meaningful engagement.
